Do we need to wear bowling shoes?
Yes. We provide clown shoes, oh we mean stylish bowling shoes! This ensures the correct grip on the bowling lane 'approaches' to give you the best technique and ensures our bowling lanes are kept in premium condition for you to enjoy. These are FREE of charge.

What ages can play tenpin bowling?
Tenpin bowling is really fun for the entire family! Bumpers can be put up on request for little ones and we have ball ramps available to help guide all players to a strike.

What's the difference in bowling balls?
We have a range of ball sizes and weights to fit all players.
You want to find the ball that has a snug fit for your fingers and isn't too heavy or too light! Ask the team for advice to find your perfect match.

Can we eat and drink at Tenpin Bowling?
Tenpin is fun and social so the perfect pairing is food and beverage!
You can order selected food online when you make your booking, or add it to your order in store and have it delivered to your lane.
Motion Cafe is just a hop, skip and a jump away if you wish to view the entire menu and their friendly team will deliver your order to your lane so the fun can keep rolling.
Strikezone Tenpin Bowling is a licensed area with a great variety of alcohol and non-alcoholic beverages.

Can I book a large group?
Absolutely! We have 14 lanes which can comfortably accommodate at least 84 players.

Can I bring food or drink in with me?
With several great food and beverage options in Motion Entertainment, no outdoor food or beverages are to be brought into the building.
Bring in your own water bottle and then check out Motion Cafe for tasty options to keep you fueled for more fun.

What are your opening hours?
We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 10pm because fun hardly ever sleeps!
We are open Public Holidays and School Holidays with only a couple of exclusions as below;
24 Dec 10am - 7pm
25 Dec CLOSED
26 Dec 12pm - 10pm
31 Dec 10am - 7pm
1 Jan 12pm - 10pm

What ages apply for your different ticket types?
Adults are 16 years of age and over.
Children are 15 years of age and under.
Some attractions have Mini ticket types which apply to children under the age of 5 years.

How old do my kids need to be to come into Motion Entertainment on their own?
All children aged 13 years and younger must be supervised by an Adult who is over 18 years old.

Is there a dress code?
Fun is for everyone! We only ask that no dirty gumboots are worn inside the building and no patches or gang paraphernalia is to be worn.
Some attractions will require covered shoes or socks to be worn - socks are available to purchase from Xtreme Air Trampoline Park.
