Virtual reality at its best! The Internationally award winning XD Dark Ride immerses you in a massive curved silver screen. It’s a world-first to blend a competitive, interactive, and reactive game into a dynamic motion ride. State-of-the-art theatre combines stunning visual effects and sound technology while creating the sensations of falling, jumping and crashing in one thrilling attraction ride. Grab the world’s fastest targeting lasers and defend yourself in a haunted house infested with zombies, menacing aliens in a subway or robot cowboy outlaws in the Wild West. In crystal-clear VR, you’ll never have more fun!

The XD Dark Ride offers fantastic fun for almost everyone! Our variety of rides have a thrill meter rating to indicate the intensity as some rides are scarier than others. Los Banditos and Pirates are more suitable for younger children. Carnival, Zombies, Werewolves and Gigamon scare some of us … but are an absolute blast!

Each ride lasts from four to six minutes, which is almost three times longer than a regular roller coaster

Motion sickness is very unlikely on the XD Dark Ride! XD means accurate dynamic motion – meaning your motion matches your visual experience – and so effectively eliminates sickness. 

With several great food and beverage options in Motion Entertainment, no outdoor food or beverages are to be brought into the building.

Bring in your own water bottle and then check out Motion Cafe for tasty options to keep you fueled for more fun.

We are open 7 days a week, 10am to 10pm because fun hardly ever sleeps!

We are open Public Holidays and School Holidays with only a couple of exclusions as below;

24 Dec 10am - 7pm

25 Dec CLOSED

26 Dec 12pm - 10pm

31 Dec 10am - 7pm

1 Jan 12pm - 10pm

Adults are 16 years of age and over.

Children are 15 years of age and under.

Some attractions have Mini ticket types which apply to children under the age of 5 years.

All children aged 13 years and younger must be supervised by an Adult who is over 18 years old.

Fun is for everyone! We only ask that no dirty gumboots are worn inside the building and no patches or gang paraphernalia is to be worn.

Some attractions will require covered shoes or Motion Grip Socks to be worn - Motion Grip Socks are available to purchase from the ticket desk.
